Performances this year will be held at:  Pavilion 8 (Google Map Link), Gregory Terrace, Brisbane Showgrounds. This is an open air venue with a roof but no sides. The venue is concrete with no seating however is suitable for those with impaired physical characteristics.

Audience members will be required to bring their own seating – folding chairs or cushions. Younger audience members sitting on cushions or other soft items for the show will sit closer to the front. The audience is sitting on a flat concrete surface, so the lower your seating the better, to enable everyone to see the cast.

Free Weekend Parking is available on Gregory Terrace or in the following nearby paid parking locations: King Street Parking (Machinery Street Bowen Hills), Brisbane Showgrounds Parking (O’Connell Terrace).

Everyone will be required to adhere to COVID19 social distancing measures. Audience members will be able to sit in family groups and will need to be the appropriate distance from others around them. As you will BYO seating there are reduced touch points for possible contamination. Any single breach of the COVID Safe social distancing requirements could see our show weekend shut down by authorities. We ask for your diligence to meet all requirements please.

For those parking in the King Street Parking there is toilets associated with that venue, shared by the local restaurants. For everyone else the toilets are marked on the map below.

Due to COVID Safe requirements the cast will not be able to interact with any family, friends or other people between shows. Historically at the Schonell Theatre the cast would gather outside post show before going home. That is not possible this year we trust you will understand why.

There is no interval or intermission for this show. There will be minor merchandise sales at the entry. There will not be any candy bar operating this year.

As this is an open air venue (no sides just a roof), we encourage all audience members to carefully consider the weather and their attire. It may get quite cool whilst sitting and watching the show in the Pavilion.

Access to the venue will be the western side of Pavilion 8 via Alexandria Street. Please be mindful of social distancing requirements when lining up to enter or approach this venue.
