The Brisbane Gang Show is a variety musical produced by Scouts Queensland each year performing at the Schonell Theatre – St Lucia.  The cast is made up of over 150 young people between the ages of 9 and 25 from both the Scout and Girl Guide movements. The production is family friendly with special school holiday prices available for the matinee performances.  The Brisbane Gang Show is Australia’s longest running Gang Show and has been running consecutively in Brisbane since 1952.

Over the  years the Brisbane Gang Show has seen several Producers – Jack Hair (1952-1957), Jack Haffenden (1958 – 1960), Hugh “Kirra” McKee (1958 – 1982), Jim Dryden (1983-1988), Peter Blatch (1989 – 1999), Brian Craig (2000 – 2005), Geoff Doo (2006 – 2014) and current producer since 2015 Trevor O’Hara. These producers have helped shaped the Brisbane Gang Show as one of Queensland’s leading amateur theatrical productions.
